You can reach the Tushita Hermitage by car. Off street car-parking is provided.

By Plane

The nearest airport to Tushita Hermitage is Kerikeri. Air New Zealand provides regular flights to and from Kerikeri from most centres in New Zealand.  Transport from the airport may be coordinated amongst participants. This information will be detailed in the email sent out to all participants approximately 3 weeks before the start of the Visit.

By Bus

Intercity provides transport form most NZ centres to Taipa. Taipa is about 15 minutes drive from Tushita Hermitage. Pick up and drop off can be arranged from Taipa to Tushita Hermitage (no charge). Please check the Intercity timetables.

Pick up and drop-off

If you require pick up and/or drop off from Taipa or Kerikeri airport, please contact us at least 1 week before the start date of attendance at Tushita Hermitage. You can contact us here.

The Tushita Hermitage is not open to the general public. Any attendance at Tushita Hermitage is by permission only and must be arranged beforehand. There are pre-arranged dates and times for formal times to Tushita Hermitage. The application process and dates for these times can be found here.
