Life Regenerative Energy Matters, more than you think 

Very often in our speech, we talk about the qualities of love, gratitude, wonder, bravery, honour and courage. Once upon a time I thought these characteristics were behavioural, qualities that I somehow had to try to cultivate. Especially if I wanted to “be me” and at the same time, be an acceptable participant in the human affair, I needed to toughen up and show the human affair I was brave and strong and loving. 

It became very obvious that within the human affair, I needed to show others I could stick up for myself. In these circumstances, the qualities of love and courage and gratitude had to do with and were necessary for the purpose of engaging with the human affair. However, slowly over time, in the process of Sadhana (a completely different form of Relationship to the conventional relationship) I discovered they were the Qualities of Life or Existence It Self. Existence and the human affair, I discovered, are two different phenomena. 

Existence is the Affair of Life or the Life Regenerative Energy that is the Source of the body/mind, just as it is the Source of all Existence. 
Existence obeys Its own Laws, the Laws of Nature. Existence is the reflection and declaration of the Impersonal Life Regenerative Energy. 
Existence is the Wonder. It is the Mystery. It is the Love. It is the Face of the Living God. And, unlike the anthropocentric human affair, it always reveals the same unambiguous, defenceless, unresentful face.  

The human affair is based on a fright-full reaction to Existence It Self. 
The Wonder and the Mystery and the Gratitude that we, along with everything else, have at all come into Existence are not enough to satisfy us, it seems. In fact, humans have an anxious attitude based in the belief, the perception that they have to make the real exciting stuff happen. 

We seem to insist on indoctrinating every new born out of the Brilliant Wonder of Existence as the foundation of her or his everyday life. Rather than the thrill and stable adherence to the already Source of our Existence being the initiation and motivating Principle of our everyday life we become involved in “trying” to be “someone” within the manic and stupefying noise of our shouting to the world that we are here. This is simply a Spirit-degrading tragedy. 

When one is in relatedness to the human affair, one is always “trying” to be “someone,” always “trying” to act with admirable qualities and probably very often feeling like a failure. When one is in relatedness to Existence, to the Life-Regenerative Energy, one begins to realise more and more that one already IS. With this form of Relationship as the basis of everyday life, one begins to Realise that one is already and always of the Spirit - the Life Regenerative Energy. 

However, if one is fundamentally more in relatedness, more committed to the human-centric affair, and therefore the desires and need for rewards and the need to win which that form of relatedness breeds, then one merely wants Spirit or Peace or Wisdom as consolation. One cannot hold on to their desire to succeed within the human affair and hope to be Realised in the Spirit. But, so often this is what we hope for. Your Great Beloved Self is Realised through Loving Submission of the indoctrinated/conditioned personal someone into the Existence Place – the Heart of All. In other words, our worldly human affairs will not (because they cannot) accommodate Wisdom. 

It is only by Conscious neglect (made so much more possible in an affluent, self-indulgent society) that we do not, most generally, interact with each other and all creatures on the basis and Realisation that a body comes into Existence through the agency of the Great Impersonal Life Regenerative Energy and therefore that One is the “I”. 
That One is the already and always intimacy with Life It Self.
