Bring Creativity to Suffering
The lifetime evolution of the body/mind itself (regardless of the ego “I”) is the process between birth and death. Or, otherwise stated, the process between birth and death is the conditional and Ultimately Spiritual evolution of the body/mind itself.
Whether the experiential personal self (the ego “I”) likes it or not, the body/mind evolutionary process will take place.
There is an early stage in the individual’s lifetime evolution where the ego “I” is appropriate and useful. Our childhood years, or early human development years, are a time to be “personally” involved in the process of the body/mind’s physical, emotional and intellectual integration and to become conditionally settled in one’s unique difference, based not on comparison with others but on the conditional gifts that are inborn or inherent to the individual body/mind.
However, to move with the natural evolution of the body/mind, the ego “I” identity is no longer appropriate or useful.
The conditional aspect of our existence will always be what it is; a “reality” of change, beginnings and endings, difference, uncontrollable circumstances and so on.
Therefore, the conditional portion of our existence is a realm of suffering in so far as relying on the conditional realm for our ultimate fulfillment, or peace and contentment. And yet, that is the common way of establishing the idea or point of view of self.
We, most commonly and habitually, are constantly working at generating our self-image or self-idea on the basis of conditional values, status and the arbitrary and temporary rewards offered. In other words, our self-identity is established and generated in relatedness with the conditional, the merely physical dimension; the dimension that is constantly out of our control and always heading towards ending.
To make more rather than less of our self-identity within the conditional dimension and its “man-made” imposed values is to consign ourselves to the disgraceful and undignified game of endless manipulation and exploitation of our self and others, in order to gain back our greater qualities such as Inherent Self- Worth, Inherent Self-Peace and Inherent Self-Empowerment, that we gave away within the conditional search. Gave away in ignorance of our Inherent Self.
Spiritual Awakening IS the Practice of Identification with the Formless, the Conscious Witness “I”, the unchanging Formless Self.
Now, at this point we must be very clear about the fundamental purpose of Spiritually Awakened Practice; the Practice of Satsang.
Greater relatedness with identification as the Formless, the Conscious Witness Self (Spiritual Practice) is not for the purpose of escaping or avoiding the conditional aspect of our existence, nor is it for the purpose of better fitting us for the competitive conditional game of winners and losers.
The Great and constant (constant meaning in the midst of all circumstances, functions and relatedness) Spiritual Realisation Practice is fundamentally necessary if one is to move in harmony and peace with the natural evolution of the body/mind and at the same time bring free creativity to the conditional process.
The body/mind is the condition of birth and death. Identity with its form is the ego “I” and therefore that one – the ego “I” – dies. To live by way of the ego “I” is to be in constant suppressed fear of uncontrollable Life and therefore uncontrollable death.
Become profound now and understand that Real Spiritual Practice violates our rational self-image. Spiritual Identification made practical is often regarded as an insult to our socially intellectual and spiritual respectability.
If we reject, or do not understand, this fact, we then misconstrue and degrade Spiritual Awakening, or the Practice of Satsang, in order for It to better accord with our conditional self-image and its search.
Awakening from identity with form alone is essential if we are to bring free creativity to this realm of suffering – this realm of birth and death and the entire possibilities in between.
We can either do as we are told (by way of the common and strong socialised and religionist demands to adhere to the way of conditional identity) and thus merely submit our Lives to the machine of producing and consuming and all the speciously consolatory allowable methods of coping with conditional existence; or we can Awaken from identity with form alone in order to bring free and new creativity to the suffering that will always be the nature of the conditional realm.
We must bring free creativity into our existence. We must bring free creativity into our dying, otherwise we merely have the socially acceptable ways (that, by the way, do not “work”) of coping with the fear of living and dying.
Spiritual Awakening is the necessary Realisation required for our natural peaceful cooperation with the evolution of the body/mind condition – the condition of birth and death.
We must all bring free creativity into our living, into our dying. To do this we must first of all make space, both physically and psychically. In other words allow Life to be the Agent, to be the Master It IS.
We each must get out of the way of our commitment to the ego “I” and allow Life to be transmitted through the body/mind instrument. Every one of us must pass through ego-death if we are to embrace the natural evolutionary process of the body/mind.
Birth and death are merely the instruments or servants of Life. They are the Wise Servants of all evolution throughout the endless Universe.
The evolution of the body/mind is far cleverer than the puny ego “I”. Relative to the Truth of the body/mind, the ego “I” is an idiot and a constant molestation to the Graceful process of the body/mind in Nature.
